Mortgage Broker

Noluthando Lupuwana is a former property finance consultant at a leading South African non- bank home finance provider. With a degree in Financial Planning from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (now Nelson Mandela University) and currently completing a Post Grad Diploma in Business Analysis at Rhodes Business School. Armed with 5 years ( and still counting) industry experience starting in Cape Town and now based in the Nelson Mandela Bay, Nolu seeks to develop, share and grow in the property sector of South Africa, with particular interest in the Eastern Cape. Nolu runs the instagram page Property_chats_with_Nolu .

Digital volunteer & Virtual Symposium Host

I am a digital volunteer and the host of the Innovating for COVID-19 Virtual Symposium launch.  Some of the activities include volunteering my time, skills and capabilities in various portfolios such as Stakeholder engagement, Strategic planning and implementation. I gained insight and bolstered my knowledge on the latest in Information Technology trends and apps from working within a team made with a front end and back end developer, IT, Web, & Systems Developer and a client analyst in order to create an app which solved a social need within communities in Africa as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Co - Founder  / Director

Afro Brain Bank (ABB) was founded after a conversation between its co-founders about how there are very few spaces/platforms available where young, black, professional South Africans can come together to engage and discuss the issues and nuances of the black community. They also wanted to create a Think Tank that aims to play an active role in solving the issues facing the black African.

My duties are but not limited to :
1. Strategic planning and implementation of discussion sessions and community engagement events
2. Marketing/Promotion of ABB and its events
3. Financial Management
4. Networking and engaging with external stakeholders
5. Facilitate and manage Afro Brain Bank events
